A two-day celebration featuring jazz, gospel, youth workshops, and nationally recognized artists.
The celebration begins with an engaging Youth Music Workshop during the day, followed by an evening of exceptional live jazz performances featuring distinguished artists and special guests. Experience professional musicianship, dynamic performances, and the rich tradition of jazz in an intimate and inspiring setting.
Our Gospel segment will showcase powerful choirs, vocal groups, and featured headlining artists in a spirit-filled evening of praise, unity, and musical excellence. This evening honors the community partners and supporters who have been part of our 30-year journey.
For three decades, Great Sounds Promotions has presented high-quality live music and provided meaningful educational opportunities for youth. This anniversary celebration reflects our continued commitment to artistic excellence and community enrichment.

Renowned for his smooth and contemporary jazz stylings, Brian Simpson has released multiple acclaimed albums, including Soul Connection (2023) and Midnight Groove (2025). Blending sophisticated harmonies, bluesy motifs, and melodic phrasing, Brian captivates both jazz purists and casual listeners alike.

Formed in 1999 by founder Timothy Henderson, God's Posse unites some of Chicagos finest voices with a shared purpose of ministry, faith, and musical excellence. Members Ray Burnett, Antonio Atkins, John Atkins, Deonadre Sanders, Anthony Watkins, Keith Hoskins Sr., Randy Berry Sr., and Cedric Montgomery comprise the group.
Staying true to the traditional Quartet sound, God's Posse delivers tight harmonies, powerful electric guitar, and a driving gospel groove. Their latest single Anchored reinforces the importance of being grounded in faith while maintaining an energetic and modern sound.
Their sophomore album The Kind of God We Serve: Live in Chicago charted in the Billboard Top Gospel Albums Top 25 for seven weeks and earned nominations from the Stellar Awards, Texas Gospel Music Excellence Awards, and Chicago Music Awards, along with multiple national recognitions.
